Dreams have Powerful effects on us. even years later they can give use shivers and spark our imagination. this one changed how i look at the world profoundly.

[... I walk down the tunnel towards the light filled cavern beyond. Ancient and old, the dragon waits, expecting me. I stand before him and know I’m needed for a reason. His voice rumbles like a rockslide. His time has come to an end. Someone must sing his song, speak the words, and release him. The gift is deepest sorrow, as the song flows off my lips like water. My soul stripped bare by its power, eye’s blind with tears for the end of something so ancient. He fades to nothing, the cave empty as a tomb…

Awake, I sing on, tears streaking my cheeks. Rising, the words flow out of my mind like fog on a summer morning. The song faltering on… until it too cannot stay and fades to whispers and shadows… ]
