MtG: Altered Card Art :Nefarious Lich

The second card I was doing while working on Progenitus. Nefarious Lich is one of those "you have to be kidding me? they did something this crazy as card art??" ...so once I took a good look at it I knew i would have fun.

Most of the background consisted of interposed layers of colours one swiped over the next. once I had figured this out simulating the colours was a snap.

The original card art is not mine in any way and I am a big fan of all the magic card artists. I want to make sure everyone understands i take no credit for the original work, I have only made alterations to it.
